job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssists with self-administration of medication and records clients vital signs. Conducts initial intake assessments and evaluations, including detox protocols. Ensures accurate documentation of medication and lab orders Observes clients, charting and reporting changes in client conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and takes any necessary action. Answer client questions regarding medication orders and determines how to assist them. Responsible for the management and organization of medication room, including supply inventory and equipment compliance. Evaluates medical concerns and directs clients to emergency medical care when required. Works with the treatment team and physicians to assess client needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions. Reviews medication logs, conducts medication counts and requests refills as needed. Provides monitoring and supervision of clients to support non-clinical staff. Performs breathalyzer analysis and monitors urine test samples from client. Documents and records results. Attainment of at least 18 years of age. LVN licensure required. Possession of a valid license / certificate of registration issued by the California Board of Nursing Education and Nurse registration is required. Experience working in a substance use facility preferred. Demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance. Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance. Sanctuary Treatment Center is currently looking for LVN's for 12 hour daytime and overnight shifts at our detox and residential facilities!
The LVN is responsible for providing a variety of nursing services which focus on prevention, treatment, education, and rehabilitation of the physical and mental health of the client. The LVN collaborates as a member of a the treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
Availability, we are currently looking for :
- Full Time positions with benefits
- 12 hr shifts
- 9am - 9pm, or 9pm-9am (3 days a week)
- weekend availability required
