Job description :

The role of a c aregiver at Gol den Ca re  is to provide   high-quality, non-medic al  car e and support services to clients ,  delivering   care  wit h   professionalism, empathy,   compassion,   kindness,   and   in   a  respect ful  manner . Some   caregiver  duties include,  but not limited   to ;

• Provide  companionship and emotional support to clients .
• Providing clients with  Alzheimer’s / Dementia  or  related  behaviors ( i.e., wandering, paranoia)   a safe  and secure environment  by   monitoring   their  health   and  safe ty, a s it  is a priority.
• Assist   clients   with  a ll the ir  ADL’s  (Activates  of Daily   Li ving)   in  accordance with  individualized care plans   ( i.e. ,   p ersonal hygiene  assistance — oral care, grooming, toileting ,   i ncontinence  c are,  bathing,  dressing, etc.)
• Light housekeeping , laundry, and organiz ing   to  maintain  a clean-living environment.
• Meal   preparation and   assist  with feeding if needed .
• Transferring & Ambulation — provide  safety,  stability   and   support   while  clien t  i s   mobile  and  during  transfers .
• Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands,  outings,  etc.)
