About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Business Transformation to play a pivotal role in the organization's evolution into a tech-enabled services company. This strategic operator will be responsible for developing and driving a holistic transformation roadmap, leading complex workstreams, and defining success metrics in partnership with functional leaders. The successful candidate will work across functions to deliver tech- and AI-enabled solutions, support cross-functional initiatives, and lead M&A integration efforts. A key aspect of the role is to serve as a visible champion of transformation, modeling resilience, transparency, and urgency, and to constitute and lead a Digital Transformation Advisory Board of external experts. Candidates for the VP of Business Transformation role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in leading tech-enabled transformation efforts, ideally in a services or platform business. A management consulting background is highly valued, and prior exposure to EdTech, higher ed, or adjacent industries is a plus. The role requires a deep experience in change management, technical fluency, and a proven track record of leadership through influence in matrixed organizations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic operator with a bias for action, adept at cross-functional problem-solving, and possess a builder mindset. They should be highly resilient, calm under pressure, and thrive in ambiguity, with a strong focus on upskilling teams, leading change, and navigating through complex transformation efforts.
