Are you a talented Design Engineer looking to bring mechanical and robotics systems to life?

Reliance One, Inc. is partnering with a leading industrial client in Rochester Hills, MI, to hire a Design Engineer who will play a critical role in building parts and systems for industrial robots, especially those used in powertrain manufacturing (engines, transmissions, and more).

As a Design Engineer , youll be designing both mechanical and fluid-powered systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics, that power automated manufacturing setups. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are accurate, functional, and ready for production.

What Youll Do as a Design Engineer :

• Create mechanical and fluid-powered designs for industrial robotics systems.
• Develop and check 3D tooling designs using SolidWorks (or Inventor).
• Work on AutoCAD layouts and complex system designs.
• Contribute to pneumatic and hydraulic system design (pneumatics a plus).
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Ensure designs meet functionality, manufacturability, and quality standards.
