Data Systems Analyst

Aaratech Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Data Systems Analyst to optimize and enhance enterprise data systems. You will analyze business workflows, evaluate system requirements, and ensure data is processed accurately for analytics and reporting. This role combines business analysis, systems knowledge, and technical expertise . You’ll collaborate closely with IT teams, data engineers, and business users to translate requirements into scalable, efficient system solutions.

• ? Key Responsibilities
• Systems Analysis & Requirements Gathering :
• Identify system gaps, capabilities, and functional needs with business teams.
• Document requirements, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
• Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements and integrations.
• Data Flow & Integration Analysis :
• Review and optimize end-to-end data flows.
• Work with ETL teams to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
• Troubleshoot inconsistencies and integration issues.
• Data Modeling & Architecture Support :
• Assist in designing logical and physical data models.
• Collaborate with data engineers to align system structures with business needs.
• Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation.
• Testing & Quality Assurance :
• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate data accuracy and system behavior after deployments.
• Track defects, coordinate fixes, and ensure smooth production rollouts.
• Reporting & Analytics Support :
• Help improve reporting structures and data availability.
• Support analysts and BI teams with reliable data feeds for dashboards and reports.
• Provide ad-hoc data extraction and analysis support as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration :
• Serve as a bridge between IT, data engineering, and business teams.
• Ensure system changes meet organizational goals and data governance standards.
• Facilitate discussions on system performance, requirements, and optimization.

✅ Qualifications

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

Technical Skills :

• Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ETL or data integration tools.
• Familiarity with system design, workflows, and data mapping.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.

Professional Experience :

• 2+ years as a Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Ability to document processes, requirements, and technical specifications.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
