We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to support the GPI program's SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer in defining the environmental requirements. (Environments RSE). This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities :

" Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree.

" Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design.

" Responsible for collaboration with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer :

" Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience

" Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering

" General understanding of all design disciplines

" Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition, validation and verification

" Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability

" DOORS or other requirements Management Experience

" Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel

" Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher Most work is performed in a closed area

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer :

" Systems Engineering experience

Requirement decomposition, functional flow diagrams, Use case analysis

" Experience working fast paced development programs

" Sysml or Cameo Experience
