Job Description :

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve in Essentia Health's obstetrics and gynecology practice at our 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo, North Dakota. This LPN works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. This position qualifies for full time benefits.

What You'll Do :

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and / or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.  Will  perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.  Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

You will work alongside a provider within the OB / GYN Clinic to manage the day-to-day work of rooming patients, assist with procedures, and manage patient messages. The ideal candidate has good time management skills, EPIC experience (helpful but not required), and excellent communication skills, including by telephone, in person, and through messaging.  This position is hired into the department, not to work with a specific provider. There is also floating between departments as needed, with the appropriate orientation period.
