Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Assembly Operators to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Requirements :

  • US Citizenship and able / willing to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions / documentation.
  • Good computer skills
  • 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly / Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
  • High school diploma / GED required. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.

Second and Third shift positions available. 2nd : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM EST 3rd : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM EST This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
  • In-process inspection and self-inspection.
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610.
  • Assemble and / or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities.
  • Hand assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications / process.
  • Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps.
  • Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment.
  • Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required.
  • Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
  • Must maintain a very good attendance record.
