Job Type : Full-time, 9am 6pm, 40 hours a week, Monday Friday

Salary : $183,660.00 / year to $196,900.00 / year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus or equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.

Duties

Collect, organize, interpret, and summarize statistical data in order to contribute to the design and development of company products. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with both consumer and business products. Partner with Product and Engineering Teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities. Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches. May be assigned projects in various areas including, but not limited to, product operations, exploratory analysis, product influence, and data infrastructure. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires one year of experience in the following skills :

• Performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets;
• Data querying language(s) including SQL;
• Scripting language(s) including Python;
• Statistical or mathematical software including one of the following : R, SAS, or Matlab;
• Machine learning techniques;
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes;
• Relational databases; and
• Quantitative analysis techniques, including one of the following : clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics.
