Our Houston based Oil & Gas client are looking for a Snr Petroleum Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities :
Reservoir model calibration and performance prediction.
Prediction of surface heave, subsidence, and subsurface reservoir compaction.
Development and deployment of reservoir simulation tools coupled with geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing.
Contribute to technology development programs in understanding shale reservoir performance.
Perform integrated studies to improve the design of fractured horizontal wells.
Conduct reservoir characterization and uncertainty study in both conventional and unconventional resources.
Participate in peer reviews and assists in support of geomechanical analysis and frac optimization.
Qualifications :
Master or Doctoral degree in petroleum or related engineering field.
7+ years of experience in applying geomechanics in the context of reservoir development, management and performance prediction; geomechanics numerical simulators; modeling well performance in unconventional resources.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
