Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced Travel LPN for a 4-week day-shift assignment in a busy Women’s Health outpatient clinic in the Bronx, NY. The clinic operates Monday–Friday and manages a large daily patient volume (approximately 200 patients / day ) with 10–13 providers onsite, including MDs, NPs, and midwives. The role includes floating between medication areas and the floor as needed. Education / teaching is not required for this role.

LPNs assist with Women’s Health and OB / GYN-related care, including room turnover, intake, screenings, point-of-care testing, lab specimen collection, and assisting with procedures such as IUD placements / removals, colposcopies, biopsies, cervical screenings, and supporting termination-of-pregnancy (TOP) services.

Common Diagnoses & Procedures :

Annual GYN screenings

Pap smears

Endometrial biopsies

IUD / TOP procedures

Postpartum BP / HTN management

Specimen collection & phlebotomy (preferred)

Unit & Workflow Details :

Providers per day : 10–13

Patients per day : ~200

Float Requirements : May float to other ambulatory care or outpatient GYN clinics

Charting System : Allscripts

Shifts & Scheduling :

Clinic open Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Possible shift times : 8 : 00–4 : 30 , 8 : 30–5 : 00 , 9 : 00–5 : 30

Tuesday evening clinic : 11 : 00 AM – 8 : 30 PM (1 LPN scheduled)

No weekends

No holidays

No call or standby
