The Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (USOR), a Division of the Department of Workforce Services (DWS), is seeking a motivated individual with a disability to fill a 16-week, paid internship as a Front Desk Receptionist - Work Ability Intern at our Judy Ann Buffmire Rehabilitation Office in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Judy Ann Buffmire Rehabilitation Office houses the administrative offices of the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. It also houses Utah Center for Assistive Technology, Business Relations, Governor's Committee on Employment for People with Disabilities, and Utah Work Incentive Planning Services. This office is focused on providing people with disabilities the specialized, supportive services necessary for them to engage in seeking employment. In this context, the successful applicant will participate in day-to-day office support activities including taking calls and correctly directing clients and potential applicants to the necessary resources and assisting with front desk reception duties.
