Wardrobe Dresser

Job Summary : Maintain and alter existing costumes, as well as assisting performers in quick changes during multiple performances nightly.

Specific Duties and Responsibility :

Maintaining backstage areas and keeping it cleaned

Altering and maintaining preexisting costumes

Work with the wardrobe supervisor and entertainment manager to ensure shows run smoothly

Clean garments as specified.

Pre-set costumes before and in-between shows

Job Requirements :

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Must be able to work PM shifts

Must be able to work beyond 8 hours per day if required

Must work well with others

Must be self motivated and able to work by yourself

Must be able to properly use a sewing machine and hand stitch

Must be able to make alterations on clothing

Must be able to tailor men’s and women’s garments

Must complete all tasks nightly

Preferred experience in maintaining and styling wigs

Preferred theater knowledge
