- Write NC programs to machine complex parts using Gibbscam
- Follow part through manufacturing process with operator to ensure accuracy
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures
- Work with manufacturing and design teams
- Create improvement methods
- Mentor and facilitate training for team members
- Meet with customers regularly to monitor project health
What You Will Bring :
Associate or Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, etc) or equivalent experienceExperience programming CNC machines requiredExperience with Gibbscam requiredExperience with lathes, mills, and multi-axis (5- to 8-axis) desired3-5 years minimum of relevant experiencePrevious experience writing NC code within the aerospace industry desiredSignificant experience in manufacturing processesAbility to work in high stress, fast-paced environmentProficient with GD&T conceptsExperience with Aerospace products or related products valuedDisplays strong analytical skillsDemonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business resultsExhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processesShows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholdersEstablished ability to manage multiple complex projects at onceExperience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferredSuperior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to resolve conflicting situationsEffective problem-solving skillsSubstantial amounts of computer work.Pay Range : $31 / hour - $37 / hour
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements :
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Columbus, OH and is considered hybrid with some days potentially required on-site.You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.Travel requirements : Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
