\nStartDate : ASAP \nAvailable Shifts : 8 D \nPay Rate : $2959.50 - $3242.85 \n

\nMammo Tech for Brooklyn, NY\n\nPerform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment / devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.\nProduce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care. Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images. Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.\nGuide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.\n\nRequired : NY License, Hologic Experience, ARRT, BLS, 1 Yr. Experience\nTravel Experience a Plus\n\n\n\n\n

Licenses : MAMMO-NY

Certifications : M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Mammo Tech for Brooklyn NY

NY License, Hologic Experience, ARRT, BLS

Mammo Techs require the following documentation :

o a copy of NY license

o a copy of current ARRT card

o a copy of Mammography registry certificate (if no date on it, need ARRT documentation showing registry date)

o 8 initial hours of digital training

o 8 initial hours of tomosynthesis training

o 15 current mammography CME's

o Initial 40 hours of training / attestation

o Current 200 mammography stats\n
