Grand Rapids, Michigan, law firm seeks a full-time, experienced 5 years minimum a must legal assistant with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities :
- Transcription of digital dictation;
- Preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and pre-trial pleadings;
- Prepare and file documents electronically with state and federal courts;
- Maintain professional interactions with clients in person, via telephone and / or e-mail;
- Manage attorney calendars, including hearing dates, court deadlines, deposition dates, and meetings / appointments ;
- Schedule hearing dates, attorney meetings, and deposition dates;
- File, mail, scan, and fax documents; and
- Perform other general administrative tasks as assigned.

Hours : Monday through Friday 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
