The Opportunity

BlueScope Building Components is looking for an  Accounts Officer  to join the Commercial team   based in Hamilton NSW . BlueScope Building Components a division of BlueScope in Australia manufactures and markets steel building products solutions and services through its four leading brands : Lysaght Fielders Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

Working with our two market-facing businesses Ranbuild and Kiteleys you will be a key contributor in delivering high-quality service to our internal and external this varied role you will support the business with debtors management banking accounts payable reporting and accounting tasks.

This full-time permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting and finance functions with the support and mentorship of an experienced commercial team - providing variety development and the chance to build a strong foundation for your career.

What Will You Do

Working closely with internal and external customers you will :

• lead debtor management -   including credit control account creation banking collections and reporting
• support accounts payable processing
• prepare month-end journals and reviews balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
• actively contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
