Continental Aerospace Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. As an Associate Production Planner, you will play a key role in our supply chain operations team by supporting a smooth flow of production activities at our engine assembly factory. You will be responsible for ensuring that daily production schedules align with our customer demand, work orders are released from our ERP system and provided to the manufacturing operations team, and that work orders are properly and timely managed in our ERP system. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, organizational abilities, and problem-solving mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Work Order Management : Create, update, and close work orders in the ERP system to ensure accurate tracking of production activities.Production Scheduling : Assist in planning and prioritizing production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.Inventory Coordination : Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability for production.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to address and resolve any issues impacting the production schedule.Data Analysis : Analyze production data to identify trends, delays, and areas for improvement, providing regular reports to management.Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience : 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. This includes demonstrated success in planning roles, particularly within high-mix, fast-paced manufacturing environments.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.Characteristics For Success :
