About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Solutions Engineering to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and growing a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers and Implementation Managers, as well as actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. This role requires a strategic leader who can provide oversight and tactical direction to the Solutions Engineering team, and who is adept at articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The VP will also be a key technical advisor and product advocate, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in technical leadership roles within the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industry, with a proven track record of leading global Solutions Engineering or Technical Sales teams. Deep knowledge of data center systems, including power, cooling, cabling, network architecture, and compliance, is essential. The role demands a professional with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. The VP will be expected to participate in customer-facing meetings, design and document customer solutions, prepare technical proposals, and work closely with the sales team on RFP / RFI responses and proposal preparations.
