Position Summary :
The Head of IT is a strategic leadership role responsible for directing the implementation, maintenance, and administration of the organization's information systems and technology infrastructure. This individual will align IT operations with business objectives, ensuring that systems, applications, and networks support and enhance organizational performance.
With a focus on innovation, integration, and operational excellence, the Head of IT will define and prioritize business needs, develop initiatives, and lead the strategic planning and execution of IT projects. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions while fostering a high-performing IT culture.
Essential functions of the position :
Define IT vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Direct the implementation and administration of hardware, software, and network systems.
Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
Establish and approve IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and consistency.
Manage and mentor direct report, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
