Job Title : Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker responsible for general warehouse duties, including forklift operation, shipping and receiving, and loading and unloading freight trucks. The role involves ensuring that products received from suppliers are accurate and properly placed into warehouse stock bins or shelves. You will verify that parts received match the packing list and purchase order and inform Counter Reps of any discrepancies before conducting goods receipt. Additionally, you will process daily sales orders, work order pick lists, and transfers to meet shipping dates, report any issues with sales orders or part shortages, and conduct inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Daily general maintenance, including dusting, cleaning, and taking out the trash, is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading freight trucks.
  • Ensure accuracy of products received from suppliers and place them in appropriate stock bins or shelves.
  • Verify that parts match packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Inform Counter Reps of any material issues before conducting goods receipt.
  • Process daily sales orders, work order pick lists, and transfers to meet ship dates.
  • Report any issues with sales orders or part shortages.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including dusting, cleaning, and taking out trash.

Essential Skills

  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in material handling, packing, picking, loading, shipping, and receiving.
  • Experience with inventory management and general labor.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Computer experience.
  • Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in systems, processes, and circumstances.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining safety standards.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Sparks, Nevada.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 / hr.
