Surveyor Technician

CHC is seeking a capable experienced surveyor to join our this position you will perform surveying functions (land and hydrographic) in a safe and effective manner to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct Field data collection setting horizontal and vertical controls topographical surveys construction stakeout and as-built surveys
• Setting / checking benchmarks
• Perform Post survey field data analysis
• Perform Construction layout calculations.
• Topographic / Volume analysis
• Ability to perform hydrographic topographic and construction surveys.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and work environments as well as adverse conditions.
• Working knowledge of Trimble Sokkia Topcon or Leica and robotic equipment.
• Ability to install and calibrate GPS systems on earth-moving equipment.
• Create manage and maintain project layout and construction data and perform and assist with Quality Control on data produced.
• Heavy civil work experience is desired.
• Follow safety guidelines per company specifications.
