Job Summary
This position reports directly to the AES HSET Compliance Manager and is predominantly administrative in nature. Candidate must live local and work in the Anchorage office. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction while providing support to the Health, Safety and Environmental Training (HSET) department. Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Essential Duties
- Administer the Driver Qualification and DOT (PHMSA and FMCSA) Program to include processing and maintaining driver and DOT qualification files, generating motor vehicle reports, managing and maintaining the drug and alcohol reports for quarterly reporting, and generating monthly reports to monitor and ensure AES, regulatory and client requirements.
- Administer the HSET Department's learning management system (VTA), ISNetworld, and Safety Skills.
- Provide ongoing support to the onsite trainers and applicants during the onboarding process.
- Process training records in the learning management and document management systems.
- Act as an AES Floor Warden.
- Back up Coordination of the Onboarding and Training Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidential information in both hard copy and electronic format.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Required Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.A minimum of one-year administrative experience.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Must have knowledge of standard office equipment such as photocopiers, personal computers, and telephone systems.A valid driver's license is required.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in safety or human resources preferred.
