Location : Wilson, NC 27893 (Eastern North Carolina)

Healthcare Setting : 26-bed Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room

Start Dates : 11 / 24 / 2025, 12 / 8 / 2025, 12 / 22 / 2025

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (15 : 00-03 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Electronic Health Record : Meditech

Patient Population : All ages (geriatric, adult, pediatric)

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4-5, flexible based on acuity

Orientation : Bi-weekly sessions

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS

Experience with Meditech EHR preferred

Strong teamwork, communication, and engagement skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Room

Assess, triage, and manage patients with diverse diagnoses, including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Operate GE monitors and standard emergency department equipment

Float to similar assignments within the hospital as needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (any scrub color)
