Reporting To : Database Marketing Manager

Role Summary :

The Casino Marketing Database Specialist will be instrumental in the rigorous management, analysis, and operational use of our marketing database. This role involves both strategic and routine data handling tasks to support our marketing objectives. Reporting directly to the Database Marketing Manager, this position is a blend of analysis and hands-on data management, ensuring our marketing efforts are both effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Database Maintenance : Regularly perform database cleaning and updating tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity. This includes removing duplicates, correcting errors, and adding new entries.
  • Data Analysis & Segmentation : Dive deep into customer data to identify patterns and opportunities for targeted marketing actions. Use SQL queries and analytics tools to segment customer data effectively.
  • Campaign Support : Contribute to the development, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns. Prepare data lists for email blasts, direct mail campaigns, and other promotional activities. Perform routine data checks on outgoing mailers and emails.
  • Performance Reporting : Generate regular reports on campaign outcomes, database health metrics, and customer engagement statistics. Use dashboard tools to visualize data for easy consumption by the marketing team.
  • Compliance and Best Practices : Ensure all database marketing activities comply with legal and regulatory standards. Stay informed about best practices in data management and marketing analytics.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience with database management, SQL, and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Synkros is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a casino or hospitality industry marketing role is preferred but not required.
  • Must be 21+ and able to obtain a Nevada Gaming license.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
