Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Representing clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.

2. Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses during the course of a trial.

3. Studying and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.

4. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.

5. Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.

6. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.

7. Conducting legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, legal articles, and legal codes to prepare case accordingly.

8. Advising clients concerning business transactions, claim liabilities, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications :

1. JD degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admitted to practice in the state.

3. Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, including trial experience.

4. Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

7. Strong negotiation skills.

8. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
