Position Overview :
- Implement individualized and group occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR / L) to help students meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Manage a full-time caseload across two school locations within Norwalk, maintaining accurate documentation of student progress, provided services, and ensuring consistent scheduling and service delivery at each site.
- Assist students in developing and improving fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills necessary for participation and independence in the school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the supervising OTR / L regarding student performance and needs.
Qualifications :
Valid Connecticut Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License (Required)Must have successfully passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examinationPrior experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents (Preferred)Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?
