Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced 65-ton Forklift Operator to join our team in Mobile, AL. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire. The ideal candidate will already have proven experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability in a fast-paced maritime / industrial environment.

Responsibilities :

Safely operate a 65-ton forklift to move oversized and heavy cargo.

Load, unload, and transport materials in a port or yard setting.

Conduct equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safe operation.

Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.

Assist with cargo handling and yard organization as needed.

Requirements :

Minimum of 3+ years operating large-capacity forklifts (50-ton or greater strongly preferred).

Valid heavy equipment or forklift certification required.

Strong safety awareness and ability to follow load charts and weight restrictions.

Ability to work in outdoor / industrial environments with changing weather conditions.

Dependable and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
