Job Summary
Leviat is seeking an Automation Control Technician to support daily production activities and troubleshoot machine controls to maximize production uptime. The Automation Control Technician will provide technical guidance and support for production process development, process optimization, and new equipment installations. This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture.
Job Responsibilities
- Proficient in reading, modifying electrical schematics and 24V automation wiring
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting PLC's
- Installation and assembly of mechanical and electrical automation projects
- Interact with production personnel to identify value add automation opportunities
- Troubleshoot and repair medium complexity systems and equipment
- Complete work orders and respond to equipment downtime evens in the Process Facility, communicating appropriate resources to resolve issues quickly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldProficient in operating and troubleshooting PLC's and automation systemsFamiliarity with industrial networking protocolsProficient in reading and interpreting technical diagramsExperience with robotic programming and troubleshootingAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong safety background and attendance recordCapability to lift items weighing up to 40 poundsCapability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hoursThis position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands and fingers to grasp, push, and lift itemsWhat CRH Offers You
