Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Our Behavioral Health Hospital in MA is seeking a Psychiatrist for their long term psychiatric unit managed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. This is the perfect position for a psychiatrist interested in Community Psychiatry or who has completed a fellowship in Community Psychiatry. The patient's average length of stay is 18 months, which affords the psychiatrist time to formulate a diagnostic assessment, to develop effective pharmacological interventions and to experience a rewarding relationship with the patient. The experienced multidisciplinary team assists with all aspects of management, including the progressive movement towards independence and ultimately an effective aftercare plan.
