Pay Range :

$38.77 - $59.82 hourly (DOE) +

$10 / hr float differential

• Additional Details : Shift differentials given for evenings, nights and weekends

System Float Pool is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Caregivers who join our Float Pool enjoy assignments at locations throughout the Denver area.  Our hospitals in the Denver area include :

• Saint Joseph Hospital – Denver
• Good Samaritan Hospital – Lafayette
• Lutheran Hospital – Wheat Ridge
• Platte Valley Hospital – Brighton

Scope :

• Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.
• Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principals and physics of magnetic resonance imaging.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
• Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.
• Independently perform and complete routine examinations.
• Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency.
• Actively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies.

Qualifications :

• Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one-year minimum related experience and / or training, required
• Current ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry, required
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
• Ability to interact with people of all ages, required
• At least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist in a hospital environment, highly preferred
