Security, Law Enforcement, OR Military experience a plus!! Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone). Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. CPR, AED, and First aid certifications are a plus but are not needed for every site. With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following : seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and / or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and / or moving up to 25 pounds.
Full Time Security Officer
Securitas Security is looking for security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security for our clients. These positions require a high level of patience, and ability to de-escalate situations in a calm and professional manner. Prior security experience is highly preferred but not required.
What Your Day May Look Like :
- Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.
- Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
