Registered Nurse- Thyroid / Endocrine

This Staff Nurse will be responsible for :

• Working with patients and families with acute and chronic general endocrine issues with a main focus in caring for patients with thyroid disease.
• Triaging patient referrals with primary care physicians and / or families requesting thyroid nodule appointments.
• Preparing patients and families for evaluation in the Thyroid Center and Thyroid Nodule Clinic.
• Providing telephone, in-person, and telehealth education and support.
• Following up with patients and families to evaluate progress after making medication changes and surgical procedures.
• Providing clinical information and acting as a liaison between families and their physicians. ​
• Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert care.
