Overview

The AR Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving operational excellence through data analysis, root cause investigation, and support of Accounts Receivable initiatives including account reconciliation, system deployments, and audit readiness. This role champions best practices and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform advanced Excel-based data analysis to support A / R operations

Conduct root cause analysis on past due balances, recurring disputes, and unapplied cash

Analyze and clean up suspense accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting

Support audit readiness by maintaining organized and compliant documentation

Assist with the NorthStar system deployment, ensuring smooth transition and data integrity

Serve as primary contact for urgent projects and customer issues, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness

Monitor national chain and general market accounts receivable and advise on necessary actions

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal regulatory guidelines

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Physical Demands

Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing / keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

May require occasional lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
