Required Qualifications :
5 or more years of Experience in an Architecture Firm. Multi-family housing experience preferred. Architectural licensure preferred.
NAAB Accredited B.Arch or M.Arch.
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, & MS Office Suite.
Creativity, curiosity, a keen design sense, & the ability to get along with a Team.
Desire for technical growth.
Strong Communication Skills, written and verbal.
Position Description :
Participate in all phases of design, documentation, & construction process as part of a project team. Collaborate regularly with internal team from President all the way through junior team members.
Collaborate and coordinate with various Design Team sub-consultants, City Agencies, Clients, & Contractors.
Possess solid foundational knowledge of Life Safety Codes, Accessibility Codes, & Energy Codes. Possess solid foundational knowledge of building construction detailing including fire resistive construction and exterior envelope best practices.
Participate in office-wide discussions regarding BIM and Construction Documentation best practices.
When placed in a Project Manager role, be primarily responsible for meeting deadlines, quality assurance, coordinating project tasks, consultant coordination, client coordination, permit submittal, review comment response, and contractor coordination.
