Senior Structural Engineer

Hazen is currently seeking a full time Senior-Level Structural Engineer for employment opportunity in our Cincinnati offices.

Candidate will be involved with a wide range of projects including planning, design, permitting, and construction of structures for drinking water, wastewater, water resources, and conveyance structures and structural components. Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and leading structural design of projects.

The position will include project management, technical leadership and staff mentoring in the Midwest region. Primary focus will be projects in Midwest region including OH, KY, TN, and MI. Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Prospective applicants shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience and have a BS degree or MS degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited institution.
• Prospective applicants shall have a Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain such in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in design and construction of reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, structural steel and aluminum is required as well as knowledge of applicable building codes, design standards including ACI, AISC, ASCE, and structural analysis and design software.
• Candidate must be an effective communicator and be able to successfully work in a multi-discipline team environment.
