Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Batching Controller to join our high-volume beverage manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate preparation, tracking, and documentation of beverage batches in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, strong organizational skills, and a background in food or beverage manufacturing.

Schedule :

  • 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM, Sunday - Thursday, with overtime on Friday's

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control the batching process for large-scale beverage production, ensuring accuracy and consistency in formulation.
  • Prepare and verify batch sheets based on production orders and recipes.
  • Operate and monitor batching equipment, ensuring proper mixing, temperature, and ingredient sequencing.
  • Record and reconcile all batch data in NetSuite, including raw material usage, yields, and variances.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all batches meet product specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain real-time communication with production, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of ingredients and materials.
  • Troubleshoot batching issues and escalate equipment or process deviations as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to batching efficiency, waste reduction, and system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols at all times.
  • May perform similar and incidental duties as required.
  • Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a batching or production control role within a beverage, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is required, especially in inventory, manufacturing, and work order modules.
  • Strong understanding of batching processes, formulations, and production workflows.
  • Ability to read and interpret batch records, SOPs, and technical documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Job Qualifications

    English fluency required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

    Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including proper use of equipment and heavy lifting

    Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently under moderate supervision

    Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable

    Working & Environmental Conditions

    You’ll work in diverse environments, including :

    A wet, refrigerated manufacturing facility (below 40°ree;F)

    A dry warehouse (up to 85°ree;F)

    Freezer storage areas (as low as –10°ree;F)

    Work areas may be tight and loud, with continuous exposure to noise levels over 85 dBA. You'll be required to follow strict safety protocols and consistently wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The position involves repetitive tasks that must be performed safely and efficiently.

    Physical Demands

    To succeed in this role, you must be able to :

    Stand and walk throughout the entire shift

    Lift and carry up to 50 lbs continuously

    Push / pull up to 100 lbs with consistent motion

    Bend, kneel, twist, squat, and reach overhead with both arms

    Climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights when needed

    Use your hands frequently for gripping and handling materials

    Work near moving machinery

    Pass a pre-employment physical exam
