Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $18.75 / hour ($18.00 / hour + $0.75 shift differential).

What you’ll do :

Responsible for the coordination of creating, collecting, organizing and communicating daily KPIs, one-point lessons, and PO documentation for production schedules.

Every day, you can expect to :

  • Support assigned operations from an administrative standpointin a manufacturing environment.
  • Communicate with internal and external entities regarding daily operational functions.
  • Assign the filing of all required documentation accordingly.
  • Ensure that all schedules are adhered to both verbally and written.
  • Create work for the assigned department as appropriate.
  • Facilitate departmental KPI reports.
  • Responsible for keeping Management abreast of any and all areas of concern outside the normal processes(s).
  • Understand and follow all SOP’s pertaining to assigned facility’s operation.
  • Understand and follow all Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) and Food Defense / Food Safety procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate the collection, organization and communication of daily shift reports.
  • Populate shift data into Performance Dashboard.
  • Perform audits of performance boards, material transactions, High Jump transactions and packaging materials
  • Create, distribute and collect One-Point-Lessons (OPL’s) as needed. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following work methods and OSHA standards. Drives electric powered MHE equipped with lifting devices, evaluating platforms to lift or stack products or materials.
  • To thrive in this role, you must have :

  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people from external vendors to internal colleagues.
  • Sound knowledge of industry standards. Must be familiar with the Manufacturing / Warehousing / Distribution administrative environments.
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be PC literate and must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in Food environment or Consumer product
  • Experience using WMS or ERP system with RF scanning a plus
