Description

Responsible for obtaining, tracking and clearing insurance exceptions including processing mail and emails received on a daily basis. Reviews insurance documents to ensure proper compliance with regulatory requirements and internal loan policy requirements. Enters insurance information on banks tracking system for expiration dates and exceptions. Works exception reports for insurance exceptions.

Essential Duties

• Process incoming insurance mail and email daily and update system tracking.
• Work lender exception reports to clear exceptions for renewals, cancellations, inadequate coverage or deductibles.
• Retrieve declaration pages and renewals from insurance agents, or insurance company websites.
• Send letters to customers if unable to obtain insurance documentation.
• Follow procedures to force place insurance when applicable.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.
• Maintain work area in a clean, neat and professional appearance.
• Represent the bank in a professional manner
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Participates in training sessions as required by supervisor.
