Accounts Receivable Clerk

OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRINGOpening : Accounts Receivable Specialist Location : Anchorage, Alaska Pay : $28 – $30+ per hour DOE, with full benefits COMPANY INFO : We’re partnering with a well-established company in Anchorage that takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. They are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team and play a key role in keeping operations and finances running smoothly. WHAT YOU’LL DO : Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients. Post and apply payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) to customer accounts. Monitor AR aging reports and follow up with clients on outstanding balances. Research and resolve payment discrepancies or billing issues. Maintain accurate customer account records in the accounting system. Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports for management. Assist with reconciliations and month-end close activities. Support audits by providing necessary documentation. Work closely with sales and customer service to ensure billing accuracy and client satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS : 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, SAP, etc.). Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Preferred, not Required) Experience with ERP systems and automated AR processes.
