Lead Safety Consultant (Client Strategy & Technical Lead) [JK-14532] (Santa Clara)

A well-respected H&S consultancy based in the Bay Area is looking for a Lead Safety Consultant to join their team. You will be responsible for managing the consulting services and team, working with their diverse portfolio of clients to help solve any safety issues they may face. The Role :

• Act as the lead consultant responsible for conducting initial client site assessments and deep-dive needs analysis to accurately determine the scope and requirements of H&S services
• Develop and recommend customized H&S solutions, training programs, and consulting services to clients
• Review, edit, and provide final sign-off on client reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation, to ensure they comply with all regulatory standards
• Provide safety consulting services to clients across various industries, answering any regulatory and technical safety questions they may have
• Lead and and support junior consultants and team members, to ensure continued professional development

The Candidate :

• A minimum of 10 years experience working in the H&S Consulting Industry (General & Construction Industry Standards)
• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or other related discipline (required)
• BCSP Certification e.g. CSP or similar (or the ability to obtain such certification) (required)
• A self-starter, with strong communication skills who can engage with internal & external stakeholders alike
• Lives locally in the Bay Area and able to travel regionally to client sites as required
