Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a degree in a field related to the organization's mission and services, with a preference for those with a background in the performing arts. A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior-level nonprofit administration, including at least 3 years at an executive level, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the orchestral music industry, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to innovate and address changes in the field. The role also involves operations management, including budget preparation, staff management, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. The CEO must be willing to travel, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
