The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as a visionary, strategic, and community-driven leader. The CEO will be responsible for advancing the organization's mission, ensuring its artistic, financial, and organizational vitality, and leading efforts to expand its reach and deepen community engagement. This role demands a passionate individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of serving as the chief fundraiser and ambassador, and leading the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors, Music Director, and staff to develop and implement innovative artistic and educational initiatives that inspire audiences and uphold the highest standards of artistic excellence. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a degree in a field related to the organization's mission and services, with a preference for those with a background in the performing arts. A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior-level nonprofit administration, including at least 3 years at an executive level, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the orchestral music industry, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to innovate and address changes in the field. The role also involves operations management, including budget preparation, staff management, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. The CEO must be willing to travel, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
