About The Position

• Charting experience with Cerner
• Experience managing telemetry patients
• Ability to float within the facility

Description :

Position is in a MedSurg / Cardiac Floor.

Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.

Weekend and holiday work is required.

Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Patient ratios are 5 : 1.

Requires skills in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry.

Proficiency in managing dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is essential.

Experience in starting and maintaining IVs is required.

Travelers need to show good conduct and professionalism.

All travelers must complete required modules before starting the position.

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.

First-timers will be accepted.

Only patient age groups of adults and geriatrics will be managed.

Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities depending on volume and census.

The daily census on the unit averages 3 patients.

The unit has a total of 20 beds available.

Conduct concerns may result in contract termination.
