Description
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled to skilled technical work in monitoring and maintaining lift station equipment and mechanical and electrical machinery. Is responsible for function and appearance of lift stations. Reports to Utilities Maintenance Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Graduation from High School or GED.
- One (1) or more years of experience in sewer treatment plant and / or lift station operation.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSE REQUIRED :
Possession of a Class "C" license in wastewater collection systems from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection or other such approved agency.Possession of a valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and tanker endorsements issued by the State of Florida or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment.Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Driver's license must not have been suspended within five (5) years of the date of this application (Not Insurance related).Special Requirements
