Sr. Full Stack Developer - Java, Kotlin

Pay Range - $65 - $70 / hr

One of our clients is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Developer - Java, Kotlin to join their team on a hybrid basis 2 days per week in Orlando, FL.

About the Role

Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in concurrent and reactive programming environments and are excited to contribute to innovative digital experiences that reach millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and Kotlin .
  • Implement concurrent programming techniques (e.g., multi-threading) to optimize performance and responsiveness.
  • Build and maintain reactive systems using frameworks like Project Reactor .
  • Develop and consume RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Apply caching strategies and technologies to improve system efficiency and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong understanding of concurrent programming concepts and practices.
  • Experience with reactive programming paradigms and tools.
  • Full stack development experience, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
