340B Drug Pricing Program Oversight
This position is responsible for the oversight and administration of the 340B drug pricing program across the health system, ensuring full compliance with federal regulations while maximizing program benefits. Key duties include managing program registration, monitoring compliance, conducting data analysis, and coordinating staff training to maintain an effective and compliant 340B program.
Essential Functions
Ensures adherence to 340B program requirements, encompassing registration processes, regulatory audits, and the implementation of appropriate policies.
Oversees the administration of the 340B program across multiple entities to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Analyzes data to identify patterns, assesses areas that may require adjustment, and evaluates potential opportunities related to the program for patients and the organization.
Manages relationships with external vendors, including third-party administrators and contract pharmacies, to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Ensures staff receive comprehensive training and education on 340B program requirements and best practices.
Prepares and delivers comprehensive reports on 340B program performance, cost savings, and overall impact.
Participates in the planning and execution of the 340B program to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Engages in ongoing efforts to maintain program quality and ensure compliance.
Communicates effectively with administrators and health care providers.
Follows TMC Health safety, confidentiality, values, policies, and standards.
Complies with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Performs other assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Pharm. D., Master's or BS degree in Pharmacy from an AACP accredited College of Pharmacy required.
Experience : Eight (8) years of pharmacy experience, including three (3) years of supervisory or management background required.
Licensure or Certification : A valid Pharmacist license in Arizona is required, along with Responsible Pharmacist licensure. Apexus Advanced Certification (ACE) must be obtained within one year of hire.
