Department Overview
This department specializes in outpatient nutrition counseling on pediatric nutrition issues. They also provide inpatient assessments and education as well as some on-going support with outpatient follow-up.
Position Summary
A technical position which assumes responsibility for the nutritional well being of patients receiving sustenance provided by the department of Nutrition Services. This includes direct tray service foods stocked on the patient unit and all enteral formulas. Responsibilities include : monitoring computer messages and processing orders completing nutrition screenings and assessments taking Room Service calls and processing orders menu correction calorie count calculations establishing nourishments as needed calculation and preparation of enteral formulas provides nutrition education as appropriate maintains high level of patient satisfaction and quality assurance and participates in related patient care activities.

Location : Onsite
Dietary Aid experience or a student in a current dietetic program. Pediatric experience preferred.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
