This will allow power electronic systems to be smaller, faster, more robust, and more efficient than silicon systems. PowerAmerica is a 96-member consortium comprised of government, industry, national labs, and academic partners leading a national effort to enable energy efficiency, decarbonization, and energy sustainability by accelerating the large-scale manufacture and adoption of wide bandgap semiconductors chips and power electronics. Essential Job Duties The PowerAmerica Technology Manager is a pivotal role within PowerAmerica, responsible for driving the advancement of wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductor technologies. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among industry members, academic partners, and stakeholders. The Technology Manager will lead initiatives to support and grow PowerAmerica’s mission in the semiconductor market.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the WBG semiconductor industry and support PowerAmerica’s mission to accelerate the manufacturing and commercialization of innovative technologies in the United States. Other Responsibilities Proposal Management and Oversight :
Project Monitoring : Review projects quarterly against technical milestones, evaluate performer reports on PowerAmerica technical project status, and ensure compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) requirements through regular reporting and metrics evaluation.

Evaluate Return on Investment : Estimate and provide guidance on the most effective equipment, strategies, and procedures that will yield the best return on investment for PowerAmerica and its partners.
