About the Opportunity :

Our client, a reputable and growing local company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-4 years of accounting experience who is looking to further develop their career in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Prepare journal entries, financial reports, and account reconciliations.

Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.

Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-4 years of professional accounting experience (public or private sector).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP software experience.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
