Who We Are

LASP is a world-renowned space science research institute at the University of Colorado Boulder employing over 700 scientists, engineers, support personnel, and students. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Downloading the data, developing / adapting analysis tools, comparing the data with other particles and fields data from other Juno instruments, preparing and publishing papers on the scientific results, followed by archiving the output of the analysis.

What You Should Know

  • Onsite presence required at least 3 days per week.
  • What We Can Offer

    70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.

    What We Require

  • A PhD in physics and / or astronomy.
  • Graduate level experience in plasma data analysis and planetary magnetospheres.
  • What You Will Need

  • Programming in Python, understanding of planetary magnetospheres.
  • What We Would Like You to Have

  • Experience in publishing analysis of Juno data in the magnetosphere of Jupiter.
